A George III and later, kingwood, harewood, sycamore marquetry and purplewood banded serpentine commode in the manner of Pierre Langlois Applied with gilt bronze mounts, the shaped rectangular quarter-veneered brass bound top inlaid with scrolling acanthus leaves, cornucopia, flowers and leaves, above a pair of shaped later glazed doors, enclosing a shelf, flanked by shaped angles headed by swagged rams heads with trailing bellflowers, with later glazed sides, above an undulating apron on short cabriole legs with pierced leaf sabots, most mounts of later date, 128cm wide, 60cm deep, 86cm high.
