A good George II silver coffee pot by Thomas Whipham (II) and Charles Wright, London, 1757 Baluster form with spiral fluting and scalloped fluted spout, conforming fluting to cover and foot, gadroon rim to cover, engraved on either side with contemporary rococo cartouche, one with coat of arms, the other with crest, fully marked to base, lion passant only to rim of cover, 28cm. high, 31oz. (961 gm.)
