Description

A pair of George III silver coasters by Robert Garrard (II), London, 1818

The deep sides with pierced bands of foliate scrolls and shells separated by vertical bands of overlapping scales, laurel band above base and narrow gadroon rim, wood bases but silver interiors engraved with crest of a stag passant below an earl's coronet, 14cm diameter, 7cm high.

Fully marked to rims, lion passant and king's head to interiors.
