HOW TO SELL AT AUCTION
With a background in curating Furniture and Objects auctions for several of London’s international auction houses, the team brings with them enthusiasm, knowledge, professionalism and a network of contacts. Our auctions are led by a team of approachable and experienced specialists.
Our auctions are held in the elegant and spacious surroundings of The Dairy, on the Stonor Park estate, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, RG9 6HF. The Dairy is just an hour from central London and 40 minutes from Oxford and Heathrow.
The accompanying auction catalogues are produced to a high standard with lavish illustrations and detailed descriptions. They are available three weeks before the auction date and are distributed internationally.
We would be delighted to offer you a free and confidential valuation. If you would like to email images of items, please click here to access the automated request form. Alternatively you can email us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
If you would like to speak to one of the team directly please call 0207 281 2790.
We deal with vendors from many locations and where appropriate we would be happy to visit you personally to value items from your collection.
Items consigned to The Pedestal for sale will be added to your account and you will be issued with a contract to sign and return to us. Once instructed we will enter the items into the next suitable auction.
We will be happy to assist in arranging transport for your items to our warehouse. We use several firms on a regular basis and we are also familiar with many of the international removal and shipping companies.
We will send you copies of the printed catalogue for the auction in which your property will be offered. You are most welcome to attend the viewing and the auction itself.
Payment for your items sold in our auctions will be transferred to you less our charges for commission 21 days after the sale date.
