A late 19th century / early 20th century carved white jade box and cover

This white jade box is carved from beautifully figured pale jade and is decorated with exotic birds within flowering boughs framed within a plain undecorated band. The base has an almost light coloured spinach jade appearance. The box is very slightly raised on shallow L shaped feet to each corner. Overall the box measures 13.5cm wide, 8cm deep and 3.5cm high.
