Moon lights are cast from the forms of Margaret O’Rorke’s hand-crafted inspirations which begin on the potter’s wheel. The form of the light comes about by letting the nature of the bone china material take its own course when on the wheel the clay is thrown as thinly as possible.
Margaret is currently working with the finest skilled porcelain and bone china manufacturers to develop new lighting concepts and aesthetics. Hitherto, these materials have not been regarded as material for lighting made on a large scale.
Moon lights can be suspended singly or arranged in groups of three or more.
